Library Trustees approve FY27 budget, anticipate $1.95M trust bequest

NORTHBRIDGE — Whitinsville Social Library trustees OK FY27 budget; will receive $1.95M trust bequest. Director Rebecca Sasseville outlined a $7,000 budget increase for fiscal 2027 while Trustee spending will decrease about $20,000 through state aid reallocation. The board learned that the library will receive approximately $1,953,216 from the Marston W.
Keeler Trust, directed to the endowment. The trustees also approved creation of a Program and Outreach Coordinator position and scheduled the expansion project for the May 2027 town meeting following architectural review.
