Whitinsville library construction grant advances to state funding queue

NORTHBRIDGE — Whitinsville library design approved, advances to top of state construction funding queue. The Whitinsville Social Library's design for the Massachusetts Public Library Construction Program was approved by the state board and moved to the top of the funding waitlist, with implementation expected in winter 2027 through spring 2028. Director Rebecca Sasseville will submit the final report by the end of March.
The board also approved $2,000 for equipment purchases, and the library's new Ingram collection system has added 776 items and 85 new patrons in 53 days.
