Trustees of Soldiers' Memorials · Meeting of April 14, 2026
Northbridge Trustees of Soldiers' Memorials unanimously approve $1,200 expenditure to Whitinsville Monumentals. The board, led by members Tom Farley, Chris Zanchi, Jeff Manion, and Richard Trier, authorized the completion and installation of Outstanding Citizen plaques for Dean Fortin and Joshua Gibson, expected by mid-May. In a second unanimous vote, the trustees approved email-based review and approval of plaque designs by Dave Glispin for the World War I memorial's new planters, which will also bear signs recognizing Northbridge High School students.
Richard Trier is coordinating with the Department of Public Works and Sunshine Signs on additional memorial improvements. The board awaits a fence quote from Susienka Landscaping for the Korean War Memorial and reports the Vietnam Memorial plaque is in process.
