Selectmen approve three appointments; open space committees restructured

Northbridge Board of Selectmen approves three municipal appointments unanimously. The board confirmed Jeremy Gendron, who brings 10 years of sewer experience and a required Grade 5 operator license, as Assistant Sewer Superintendent; appointed Kimberly Haslam to the Playground and Recreation Commission; and appointed Michaella Sheridan to the Land Trail Stewardship Committee. The board voted unanimously to establish the 2025-2035 Open Space and Recreation Plan Implementation Committee and dissolve the predecessor update and ad hoc committees.
Town Manager Adam D. Gaudette's 2026 goals, centering on FY27 budget preparation, senior center and library projects, and the Quaker Street landfill water-system transition, were approved unanimously.
