Committee approves Fletcher House siding work, discusses two major CPA projects.

NORTHBRIDGE — Community Preservation Committee approves $7,625 for Col. James Fletcher House siding work. The committee, chaired by Glenn King with members Barbara McNamee, Jill Leonard, Rainer Forst, and Christine Johnson present, authorized the work to permit detailed building inspection.
The panel also reviewed two significant fund requests: Habitat for Humanity's $165,000 to $294,000 community housing project at 1833 Quaker Street and the Playground and Recreation Committee's $185,000 to $375,000 bid to rebuild the Cross Street Tot Lot, demolished in late 2023–2024 for safety reasons. Habitat representatives will present details at the March 9 meeting.
