Blackstone Valley Partnership approves $36,000 for COVID/Flu test kits.

NORTHBRIDGE — Blackstone Valley Partnership for Public Health unanimously approves $36,000 for COVID/Flu test kits. Representatives from Northbridge, Blackstone, Uxbridge, Mendon, Douglas, and Upton authorized the purchase of 3,000 kits immediately and up to 6,000 more in June, with tests to be delivered to the Northbridge Fire Station and distributed by BVPPH staff. The kits have a nine- to 18-month shelf life.

In related action, the partnership unanimously postponed consideration of an annual merit increase for Regional Health Inspector Dominique James until August 2026.
